Erin and Scott went into Sydney on their own to explore today because Grace had her annual Swim Carnival at school! It's something they do every year and compete to move up to the "zone", and then "state", etc. This was Grace's first time ever competing and she did amazing!! She got first place in her heat in the freestyle and the backstroke, which qualified her to move up to the zone level!! Can you tell we were super proud of her?! ;) They are divided into "houses" for athletic events and those houses cheer for each other. Grace is in the "Carey" house, which is green. She has to wear a green cap, clothes, etc. to represent her house in the event. It's a way to be a part of a team.
