It was Invention Day at school on Tuesday, so Lance and I went to help out. The kids rotated through different sections throughout the morning. Lance and I helped out where they were taking other inventions apart to learn more about them. They even went outside where her teacher talked about the different parts of her car and showed them under her hood - it was pretty cool! Then, they had to make inventions of their own (Lance and I weren't here for this part). Grace's invention was a "Bible" she made that was actually a prayer book you could write in with a robotic arrow that would point to the prayer you wanted in the book when you gave the command. :) (In her words) Pretty creative, I thought! :) It was a fun day!
Her group is sharing with the class what they learned about a computer "mouse" after taking it apart.
