Phoenix Trip #5

Grace got her own "room" at their house (aka: our closet) and she LOVED it!! Jack also enjoyed the pantry as his "office". It was so cute - they spent a lot of time in either "grace's room" or "Jack's office" keeping very busy! She thought the little bed was "just her size" and perfect as well. She slept great in her own room! :)

Brotherly and Sisterly love - isn't it great?!!
Josh and Mike were able to get a way for an afternoon and make a Cub's training game. As you can see, Josh was very happy!
Overall, it was an amazing trip with lots of great memories!

Phoenix trip #4

The whole gang! We actually got a decent picture of ALL of us together!! :) Yay!

Family pic!
The kids. We were hanging out in the Vogeltanz's back yard.

Lance's first ever experience with grass. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but then he got used to it.

Happy Birthday, Jack!

So we helped Jack celebrate his 4th birthday a little early! We went to Peter Piper Pizza (which is kind of a smaller scale Chuckie Cheese). The kids had a great time and won lots of tickets! They enjoyed the cupcakes (courtesy of Sharon) as well!
Lance is ready for the party!

Jack is ready to make a wish!

Yummy!!

Ice cream anyone?

Visiting Katie #2

Josh and the kids enjoying some books outside

Lance, Katie, Grace, Raquel, Madeline

The boys and the babies!

Too sweet - they pretty much just stared at each other.

Visiting Katie #1

So one of our days during the week we went to see my good friend, Katie, from college. We enjoyed her back yard as well and soaked up some sun. Grace loved her umbrella and was chillin in the shade.

She also enjoyed soaking her feet in the freezing cold pool!

She especially liked the water fall.

Say hello to little Madeline!

Swimming in Phoenix

We had a blast being able to swim (outside) in Phoenix! The kids loved it. This was Lance's first time in the pool and he was kicking and smiling the whole time!

Grace all wrapped up after a big day!

Phoenix Zoo #2

These gorillas were pretty fun to watch. This was actually a baby and his grandma. The mom looked like she was relaxing in the distance. They were playing together - it was pretty cute.

The giraffe exhibit was pretty neat. We decided these would be some good family shots with the fun background! The Wherry Family

The Malin Family ( minus Lance!) He was home with Sharon taking a nap.

Grace had to get a picture in front of the zebras - of course!

Phoenix Zoo #1

So we took a day and went to the Zoo - what fun! The kids loved it!! I think Grace's favorite was the zebras (we have no idea why, but she has a fascination with them right now!) I got some really cute pics of the kids checking out all the animals.
Don't they look like an old married couple??

Hanging out in the kangaroo's pouch and trying out the cactus slide.

We thought this turtle looked quite relaxed.

This is my FAVORITE picture of the whole trip. They were serious, looking at the map of the zoo, and trying to figure out where the animals were - it was adorable!!

Phoenix Trip #3

Here are some more pictures of us hanging out at Tumbleweed Park and playing in the Vogeltanz's back yard. It was beautiful! They have a pool and green grass!:) - something we haven't seen for a while. It was great!

Lance loved hanging out with "Grandma Sharon".

Jack and Grace are tackling big Josh.

Now they're driving the fire truck at the park - hang on Owen!

Too cute - Jack drives the motorcycle while Grace no hands it in the side car.

Mommy and Grace swinging

Phoenix Trip #2

Tumbleweed park was one of our favorites. It was so cute and the kids had a blast going with tons to do.
Jack and Grace posing for a pic
Stoller Parking! Perfect for Lance! :) What a cute little "street" for the kids on their bikes.

Beep Beep! Here comes the bus!

Phoenix Trip #1

We had an amazing trip to Phoenix, AZ. a couple weeks ago with the Wherry's. We stayed with Lynsey's parents (the Vogeltanz's) and they were wonderful hosts. We had so much fun playing at the parks, swimming, shopping, celebrating Jack's birthday, going to the zoo, eating some amazing food, and just enjoying the sun. Josh and Mike were also able to catch a Cubs game (which was Josh's highlight). It was the perfect winter vacation with family! We also were able to go and visit my good friend Katie from college and her new baby. What a fun week!
I took a couple pictures of the kids in the hotel before our flight to Phoenix the next morning. They were being so sweet together before bedtime. The other pictures are of Jack and Grace the first day together at the park. They were so sweet the whole week together and got along awesome!
